When kids are little they sometimes have trouble pronouncing some letters. Whenever a word starts with ‘S’ Lochie puts an ‘H’. So, instead of barracking for the Saints he barracks for the ‘Haints’. It’s not the Sun it’s the ‘Hun’.

The other day I went to wash his hands and as I picked up the soap, he looked at me and said,
I don’t need any ‘hope’ Pa.

I picked him up and said,
My little man, we all need hope! And you still need some soap!

I never thought I’d live to see the day but my parents have just bought a 42” Bravia LCD Full Hd TV
I remember years ago when they bought a new TV my Mum was so embarrassed she used to put a table cloth over it while they weren’t watching it, so that if anybody came in they wouldn’t see this opulent thing in their lounge room!!
 
Now they have gone whole hog!

We’re a pretty regular bunch of people here with a wide diversity of life experience…. but I’m going to take a guess and say that no-one here walked on water this week.

What about last week!

Unusual for a Baptist Church to not have some who walk on water!!!

I noticed in news from USA Today that in Knoxville a man is suing his Church for 2.5 million dollars, because he fell over during a prayer time and hit his head.
 
He said he asked God for a ‘real experience’ while he was praying, and although this has happened before, someone has always managed to catch him!
