Let us thank God together!

This has not been the year we were expecting. But in the midst of the challenges and changes, can we still believe God is at work for good in our world?

Let us celebrate together all the ways God has sustained us. We are thankful for his many faithful people who have served sacrificially, willingly. We are thankful for the things God is teaching us.

Can we still believe that God's people and our church has a place in his purposes?

Our call has not changed. In fact our opportunities to bring God's love and care have increased.

In these times, may we grow in expectant prayer for a world in need. May we dare to ask our God to use us for his good and to his glory.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Cor 4:16-18

Over the past 3 years our Thanksgiving offering has contributed $141,000 towards the repair of our roof, renovating our rear hall, upgrading our carpark, Tinsley hall, Electrical systems, sound system.

Our 2020 Thanksgiving offering will refresh our main auditorium. We will be updating colours, fans, lighting, the speaker system, furnishings. Our intention is to bring a lighter, contemporary sense to our worship space.

This year we seek, in faith, a Thanksgiving target of $53,000. This can be met if 41 individuals or families gave an additional $25/week (total gift of $1300) over the next year.

A Thanksgiving Offering is a pledge or gift over and above our current regular Offering. God has been incredibly generous and kind to us. Let us take the opportunity to give thanks to God for all He has done

This Offering gives opportunity to increase our financial contribution to the work of God through our church and people. With these finances we are able to develop our property as a resource for our ministries.

On Sunday 20th September we will receive our Thanksgiving Commitments and Gifts (or place in Offering bag in any service until Oct 25)

Prayerfully decide the level of commitment you can make.
